in August,
Samsung released the first Windows Mobile ROM update for its
SGH-i900 Omnia
smartphone which Samsung initially made available to Singaporean customers only.
And as mentioned, it's worth to keep an eye on Samsung's Omnia update page since
Samsung has released a couple of more updates for other countries as well now.
While it's not yet clear what the new ROM improves or enhances, the 108 MB
download is now available for i900 users in Italy, France, Malaysia, the
Philippines as well as Singapore. Unfortunately Samsung hasn't released any
release notes nor is it known which languages the ROM updates are (most likely
the country languages) and therefore a cross-update isn't suggested.
It's most likely that other country updates will follow soon so make sure to
bookmark Samsung's i900 Omnia Update page.
