Geekzone and Ilium Software teamed to offer an incredible bonus: a free NewsBreak Lite RSS feed reader for your Windows Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone.

RSS is a technology that allows web site publishers to make their content available through a syndicated "feed" that users can elect to receive. Users can then view the feed with the help of a RSS feed reader, like NewsBreak Lite. Using RSS, users can receive the most up-to-date information, delivered to them in their RSS reader.

NewsBreak Lite looks and works exactly like NewsBreak, with a limit of five RSS feeds in total. But it is free for you to download and use on your Windows Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone.

NewsBreak Lite will alert you when headlines match your keywords. You can use NewsBreak with a wireless connection, or with ActiveSync passthrough at your desk. When you have a wireless service or a Wi-Fi hotspot, use it for mobile updates. When you don't, get your updates and info at your desk, and read them anywhere.

This version from Geekzone and Ilium is a limited version - for sure but does what you expect - for free. You can get both versions - for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Smartphones from Geekzone.

In case you haven't noticed yet - the::unwired is also available via RSS through this link: ;-)
