UTILITY: Google2Go! gives you access to all Google Mobile Services

The Tech Turf recently released a handy Windows Mobile Classic and Professional (touchscreen) application called "Google2Go!".
Google2Go! is a mobile application for Google's mobile services, similar to Yahoo! Go. And, as you can see by the used icons, this application is not related to Google in any way (neither to Apple as I think) and frankly, while this looks like a handy application, I'm a little bit lost with the used icons (and would rather prefer the original Google icons) since - well - I'm not an iPhone user (what does the sunflower stands for?).

Anyway - Google2Go! provides you access to all available Google mobile services including:

  • Google Web/Image Search
  • Google Local Search
  • Gmail
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Reader
  • Google Docs
  • Picasa
  • Google News
  • Google Notes

Other features:

  • Amazon
  • eBay
  • Wikipedia
  • Dictionary/Thesaurus

Google2Go! requires Microsoft's .Net Compact Framework 2.0 and supports QVGA in landscape.

Cheers ~ Arne
