Makayama Interactive today announces Watchtone Studio Pro 2.0. This professional software allows companies to tap into the lucrative market of video ringtones. With the software it's possible to create video ringtones that will run on more then 50 mobile phones, the highest number in the market. The new version adds support for the growing market segment of Windows Mobile devices.
Watchtone Studio Pro 2.0 is the easiest tool for content aggregators, ringtone providers and others with a video, film or TV catalogue, to create video ringtones which can be sold over-the-air to consumers. A Symbian version, supporting , Series 60, was already available, but has now been extended to support the growing segment of Windows Mobile based Smartphones.
Watchtone Studio Pro has been an instant success in the market. Since the launch, six months ago, more then 10 companies have adopted it. Companies from Spain, United Kingdom, USA, Italy, India, The Netherlands and several other countries are producing and selling video ringtones with Watchtone Studio Pro. According to Makayama's press release, the video ringtone market is booming and expected to grow 200% this year.
Watchtone Studio Pro allows full control over the filesize, bitrate, framerate and other parameters. The video ringtones that are produced are small enough to distribute over-the-air (OTA), but have excellent full motion video. With the video, incoming phone numbers and contact information is displayed as well for sure.
