Seesmic is a quite popular Twitter client for PCs and Macs and now the company has released Seesmic Mobile for Google Android smartphones as well as for BlackBerry. Seesmic for Android is a pretty feature-rich Twitter client that's simple and easy to use, but powerful and practical in helping you stay connected. It comes with a clean and easy to use user interface and threaded direct messages, it allows you to share and upload photos to yFrog, Twitpic and MobyPicture as well as videos to yFrog, YouTube and Twitvid. It automatically shorten URLs with, or Tinyurl and allows to tweet your current location as a map link or location address (which works pretty accurate).

Last but not least, Seesmic Mobile for Android features fully configurable notifications allows to view the profiles of users you follow and user which are following you.

Seesmic Mobile is a pretty complete Twitter client for Android smartphones. However, not yet supported are multiple-Twitter accounts and Twitter Lists as well as there's no homescreen widget available today.

Seesmic runs on Android 1.5/Cupcake, 1.6/Donut and Android 2.0/Eclair and is available, free of charge, from the Android Market.

Cheers ~ Arne
