V2R Vision to Reality today announced the release of PhotoDialer2, the first fully graphical animated photo dialer for the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6 platform. PhotoDialer is a plug-in for Smartphone's and Pocket PC's Today/Home screen that allows you to quickly call your favorite contacts or to send texts messages, straight from the Today/Home screen. Together with the V2R Active UI core engine, V2R offers plenty of free add-on's in different animations and designs to make the V2R PhotoDialer2 as personal as possible.

PhotoDialer2 shows you a kind of buddy list with contact's photos on the device's Today/Home screen. From here, you can scroll through the PhotoDialer by using the the joystick/D-Pad or alternatively use the stylus or even the fingers for touch screen devices. If not seelcted, the plugin only shows small thumbnail images to save space on the screen.

PhotoDialer2 is available for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs/Professional and Standard smartphones running Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 6. The full version costs 9,95 Euro but a free trial version is available as well. Upgrades from PhotoDialer v1 to PhotoDialer2 are free for registered users.
