How the Korea Times yesterday reported, Hewlett-Packard, one of the world's leading computer and printer producers, confirmed to market the, by us earlier unveiled, iPAQ 600 Windows Mobile smartphone in Korea late this year. An HP Korea spokesman told the newspaper, that HP will launch a third-generation PDA phone, dubbed the iPAQ 600, late this year through Korean wireless operators such as SK Telecom and KTF and he confirmed that the smartphone is based on high-speed data packet downlink access (HSDPA) technologies that enable various next-generation services.

Further specifications the HP Korea spokesman refused to elaborate but it
seems we were on the right track with the exclusive information
we've published last week as first. Nevertheless, no word yet about the
also rumored iPAQ 900, a similar Windows Mobile smartphone but with a QWERTY
keyboard instead of the phone keyboard.
