Following
the earlier
unboxing video view of Vodafone Germany's new
LG KS20 Windows
Mobile 6 Professional smartphone, let us have a closer look at the hardware now.
The LG KS20 was often mentioned as LG's Windows Mobile Para phone and indeed,
the KS20 follows the minimalistic black and chrome Prada phone design guideline.
On the front it only features the two call buttons and a joystick in the middle.
All other buttons are either left or located on the left and right side.
Above the flat and frameless screen, the device features a VGA video
telephony camera which can also be used for self portrait photos and videos
while the main camera is on the back, together with the photo light, a white
LED:
On the left side, the device features the propriety USB sync and charging jack,
protected by a flap with the volume rocker next to it. On the right it features
the on/off button, the microSD card slot (also protected by a flap), an extra
button which launches the Internet Explorer Mobile and the camera shutter.
However, there is neither a Start key nor an OK key available.
Coming next - a device comparison with the HTC Touch Dual.
Cheers ~ Arne
