I've just received an interesting anonymous E-Mail with some even more (unfortunately grainy) the::unwired exclusive (as the mailer said) photos inside which shows an O2 Xda labeled HTC Hermes!
I mean it was - more or less - clear that O2 is also going to launch this UMTS beauty but it wasn't confirmed as of today. Since the keyboard shows a QWERTZ layout, I expect it's an O2 Germany Hermes (and the E-Mail hasn't mentioned anything about O2 UK).
Also it shows the two extra Hermes buttons, the Start and OK button, I already photographed back on CeBIT:

So here we go, the "O2 Hermes" seems to become true. A name wasn't mentioned yet nor an estimated price. However, the sender said the Xda version of the Hermes is expected to be available Q3.

Any news on whether o2 UK will release this? If so when?

Do you think the prices will probably be similar to what the o2 XDA Mini S was given (£79.99 to beging with, falling to £49.99. Prices varied on upgrade)?

400Mhz Samsung processor! WWoo hoo! It just gets better. It was going to be 300Mhz. Maybe Orange UK will have it in time for Christmas!

I hope o2 UK will release it! Any news on an o2 UK release date?

And to the person above me, Orange are releasing it as the M3100. I dont know, but they'll prob plan fo a Christmas time release, but they usually get delay by about a month, which is what happened to my C600.

htc hermes is the best or maybe one of the best pda/phone I've seen.
