After recent news that Palm is working on a GSM version of its Treo Windows Mobile device with Microsoft and Vodafone, today we get confirmation that Vodafone UK will be carrying the new "Palm Lennon", to be known as the Palm Treo 750v. Sans the antenna, the device looks alot like the 700w. One expects the device to be UMTS capable and carry Microsofts AKU2.
Vodafone have created a web page for customers who wish to be notified when the 750v is available.
I for one am hoping that Palm increases the abysmal 32mb of RAM on the 700w to a more standard 64mb for the 750v. I am also wondering when those of us
using GSM carriers in the U.S. are going to get some love from Palm.
