ANYWHERE: Is the Xbox 360 Live coming to a Windows Mobile Smartphone near you soon?

Okay, I have to admit, that I have neither a Xbox 360 nor an Xbox 360 Live account but if you are a hardcore Xbox 360 fan, and you can not live without your Xbox 360 Live features, it looks like you can stay connected soon - thanks to your Windows Mobile Smartphone.
That's at least, what the fuzzy photos tells me, which recently appeared over at Kotaku. Now I have to say, that I don't have an idea what "Xbox Live Anywhere" is about but it looks cool.

So Major Nelson whips out his phone and says, "I bet your phone doesn't have this." and proceeds to jog through a bunch of Live Anywhere windows on his svelte phone.

No further information given yet. But most interestingly is the brand of the device: "HTC" which either means it was an HTC employee or a Microsoft (Xbox 360 maybe) employee.
Anyway - if you use the Xbox 360 Live feature, feel free educate me it is about. :-)

Cheers ~ Arne

Xbox live anywhere is basically the ability to see and chat with all your friends who are playing Xbox 360.  Such as, someone could be playing a match of Ghost Recon 2 on 2 and you could be on your way home.  From your "Live Anywhere" phone, you could essentially send them a text or voice message that you and another friend are 15 minutes away to join the match.  They will get this message that will alert them on screen - they get the message, and soon know they are going to be pWND by Chaka

Hope this clears it up

While I've never heard about him, even Wikipedia knows him... wink
OK, please excuse my ignorance but I really don't know too much about Xbox and the stuff around. All I know is Xbox 360 is working perfect as Media Center Extender ;-) and I was fascinated that parts of the Xbox (Even if Live only) will come to Windows Mobile. big_smile

Arne, you know that this is a good excuse to get an Xbox 360 now. wink

LOL... Yes... Might be the best excuse... wink
But still I have the fear, that - if I would buy a new Xbox 360 - I would end up using it as a Media Center Extender "Only" - which isn't too bad anyway but a little bit pricy... wink
Decisions, decisions... hmm
