Following
O2 Germany's earlier
announcement to release the HTC Artemis during this fall as the O2 Xda orbit
and O2 UK's outlook
to launch it in November as well, here we go with some preview photos of the O2
Xda orbit which looks slightly different to the standard HTC Artemis.
Like the HTC Artemis reference design, the Xda orbit is also running Windows
Mobile 5.0 and featuring GPS as the highlight (together with a FM radio, which
is also used for dynamic traffic information) but unlike
T-Mobile's MDA compact III,
the O2 Xda orbit also includes W-LAN b/g (something T-Mobile Germany left for
some reasons). Other features are the full range of 2.xG connectivity with
GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 (including support for A2DP Bluetooth stereo) as
well as a 2 megapixel camera. The Xda orbit will also features HTC RollR
(Trackball/Trackwheel combination) for easy viewing and navigation through the
