The
second device, Giga-Byte Communications previewed during the 3GSM World Congress
is the G-Smart q60, a UMTS/HSDPA Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone.
Featuring singleband UMTS/HSDPA and triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as a thumb
keyboard, this messaging device is mostly addressing the business market,
especially because it also includes a GPS receiver. However, it's XScale CPU
with 520 MHz is even strong enough to support the devices inbuilt Bluetooth 2.0
and WiFi b/g but it also includes support for digital TV as well as digital DAB
radio.
Last but not least, it's sporting a 2.1 megapixel camera on the back and a VGA
camera on the front for video telephony over UMTS:
 


Availability isn't announced yet but we might see to be released during this
summer as well. First roll-out can be expected in Taiwan, followed by Europe.
