It became quite silent around the HTC Cavalier, the UMTS follower of the HTC
Excalibur (better known as T-Mobile Dash or O2 Xda cosmo), but according to CNET Asia, it's expected to be finally launched by Dopod in May as Dopod C730.
According to CNET Asia, the HTC Cavalier will be released with Windows Mobile 6
Standard and is expected to be powered by a 400 MHz CPU with 64 MB of RAM and
128 of MB ROM which can be extended through microSD memory cards. The quadband
GSM/GPRS/EDGE also features UMTS, HSDPA as well as Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi b/g
and a 2 megapixel camera for photos and videos. However, like the HTC MTeoR it
misses a front facing camera for UMTS video calls:

The Dopod C730 is expected to be available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia
and the Philippines from May; prices weren't given yet.
UPDATE: CNET Asia got an update regarding availability. According to Dopod International (Singapore), availability of the
C730 in Australia and Hong Kong is still pending confirmation.
Cheers ~ Arne
