 The
awaited Windows Mobile 6 ROM upgrades from E-Ten are here - already. The
Taiwanese ODM recently made the upgrades available for its latest Windows Mobile
5 Pocket PC Phone Editions (namely the
Glofiish X500
and the
Glofiish M700) to make them Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphones after
the upgrade.
The ROMs are available in three languages: English, French and Russian. To get
access to the downloads, you have to register your Glofiish X500 or M700 first.
After you get send an, so called "Action Key" sent by E-Mail you have to enter
with your IMEI number to start the download.

Unfortunately, E-Ten isn't providing ROM upgrades for pre-Glofiish devices like
the M600 or the G500.
UPDATE: While the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for the X500 is available
already, M700 owners will need a little bit more patience because the availability takes
until May 23 due to the Microsoft OS certification process.
