Following
HTC's and Orange's earlier S710 and SPV E650 launch, now also Vodafone Germany
followed with the launch of its version of the HTC Vox which
Vodafone Germany calls VDA V.
There is not too much to say about the VDA V anymore since most of us know the
HTC Vox anyway - but to recall some highlights - the VDA V is a Windows Mobile 6
Standard smartphone, powered by a TI OMAP CPU at 200 MHz. The device features
quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth and WiFi and its absolutely unique highlight
is the slide-out keyboard for easy text entry. Last but not least, the VDA V
features are the 2 megapixel camera for photo and video recording:

With a 24 months contract, the VDA V is available from 169,50 to 249,50 Euro.
Without a contract, the SIM free and net-unlocked device is available for 429,90
Euro.
Anyway - please keep in mind that the VDA V has a German QWERTZ keyboard, even
if the operating system language can be changed.
It's not yet known if other Vodafone subsidiaries will also carry the device
under the Vodafone brand.
UPDATE:
According to Keni Barwick, Vodafone UK will carry the HTC Vox as the Vodafone v1415. A release date wasn't given yet.
