Following E-TEN Information Systems earlier Glofiish X500+ announcement, E-TEN was kind enough to send over a brand new Glofiish X500+ to be reviewed by the::unwired. While the X500+ isn't the first available Windows Mobile 6 Professional/Pocket PC smartphone, it's quite unique and the first in many ways. For instance its the first Windows Mobile 6 smartphone which features a 2.8" VGA high-resolution display and it's the first GPS-enabled Windows Mobile 6 smartphone featuring a SiRF Star III chipset with TMC support (thanks to the inbuilt FM radio tuner).
All the other features, like quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE (no EDGE, no UMTS/HSDPA), WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR as well as the Samsung SC32442 CPU at 400 MHz and the 128 MB ROM/64 MB SDRAM are pretty much standard today.
Bellow my first impressions of E-TEN's first available Windows Mobile 6 Professional device:
