Someone
at the Arabic Windows Mobile forum "ce4arab.com" had some quality time with a
new, so far completely unknown Windows Mobile 6 Professional device and this
device already sports an O2 branding. According to the poster of the photos,
this device is the new "O2 Helen" (sounds more like the code name rather than the
final product name) but it seems to be clear that the O2 Helen is the successor
of O2 Stealth.
Unlike the O2 Stealth, which was a 2.5G device, the O2 Helen is a 3G device and
sports Windows Mobile 6 Professional, GSEM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS (HSDPA isn't
mentioned), WiFi b/g and Bluetooth as well as a FM radio. Still unique for
Windows Mobile devices is the slider design which features a phone pad:

The O2 Helen is said to have a 2 megapixel camera on the back and a 0.3
megapixel on the front and is powered by a Marvell PXA 270 CPU at 520 MHz. Last
but not least, the device features 64 MB of RAM and 256 MB or ROM which can be
extended using microSD memory cards.
It's neither clear who is manufacturing this device nor when it will be
released but it seems to be one of the new smartphones,
O2 Asia is expected to
release later this year. If so, it must be either from Gigabyte, Quanta or Arima.
