About the::unwired
In April 2005, PPCW.Net was relaunched as the::unwired with a brand a new sleek design and improved features but from the content side, the::unwired will stays the same what PPCW.Net was before: your place "where mobility meets wireless". Stay mobile, stay connect, stay up-to-date.

the::unwired was founded by Arne Hess, a wireless mobility insider and is owned and maintained today by Arne Hess and Unwired-I.Net, Arne's consulting company, focused on interim product-, project management and business development.

the::unwired is continuing in the long tradition of forerunners (all of them founded by Arne Hess):

What started as an online help and tutorial for Windows CE based H/PCs (Handheld PCs) and later P/PCs (Palm-sized PCs), became the ultimate platform for mobility and wireless during the last years and is focusing today on news, pre- and reviews, thoughts and tutorials about the wireless industry, Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Smartphones as well as it includes a strong growing user community. From 2003 to 2005 it also included an exclusive online shop for Windows Mobile based Pocket PC Phone Edition devices and Smartphones.
