The FIFA World Cup 2006 Arena Munich aka Allianz Arena MÃƒÂ¼nchen

During the FIFA Football World Cup 2006 in Germany, some matches, including the opening match between Germany and Costa Rica, takes place here in Munich and maybe you have a ticket for the one or the other match (unfortunately I haven't caught a single one in the ticket lottery) here and you would like to see already how the stadium looks like? Here we go. Last weekend I had a tour through the Allianz Arena (how it is officially called) which is the home of FC Bayern MÃƒÂ¼nchen and TSV 1860 MÃƒÂ¼nchen. However, since Allianz isn't a FIFA partner, the Allianz Arena will be called FIFA World Cup 2006 Arena Munich (MÃƒÂ¼nchen) during the World Cup and therefore, also the "Allianz Arena" emblem will disappear:

Altogether it's a fantastic new stadium with 69000 seats and I'm sure it will be a great host for interesting matches.
