Announced back in May together with the Samsung Galaxy S III, the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE/GT-I9305 is Samsung's LTE version of its best selling premium smartphone; now available in Germany. Unlike the Galaxy S III which initially came with Android 4.0.4, the Galaxy S III LTE runs on Android 4.1.1/Jelly Bean, which is - for sure - enhanced with Samsung's own TouchWiz 4.0 UI which nevertheless plays nice with Jelly Bean. Unlike other LTE smartphones so far, the Galaxy S III is powered by a quad-core CPU which is Samsung's own Exynos 4412 Cortex A9 CPU, running at 1.4 GHz. The S III LTE supports quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, quadband UMTS/HSDPA (up to 21 Mbps)/HSUPA (up to 5.76 Mpbs) at 850/900/1900/2100 MHz and triband LTE (up to 100 Mbps/50 Mbps) at 800/1800/2600 MHz.
