I wrote an email to Eten the middle of last week asking about the possibility of a WM2003 Secon Edition upgrade for my P300.  I had SE on my Toshiba E800, and really loved the on the fly orientation switching, and wanted it for better web browsing on the P300.  Here is the email responce I got back from them:

Dear sir or madam,

Sorry for our late reply, by your questions, we are sorry that P300 could not upgrade to the WM2003SE OS, but our new generation products P300B could support that OS.
If you were interested at E-TEN new products, please feel free to contact the local distributors or retailers for further information.
Thanks for your feedback, and if you have any other questions, welcome to contact us anytime.

Best regards,
E-TEN Information Systems Co., Ltd

I wonder if when an update does become available for the P300B, maybe it could somehow be applied to the P300.  I realize it is made for a device with Bluetooth and without the camera.  But other than that the two devices are identical right?  It seems like some clever hacks could get SE on the P300 eventually.

if u like  landscape web browsing, there are still other options..
a)  program called Nyditot Virtual Display (current version 3.22 I think), that allows you to use different graphic modes
b) landscape web browser called Thunderhawk, currently version 2.0

I am currently using Thunderhawk, and it is working great.  However, I am wanting to use Netfront 3.1 in landscape, but the only way to do it without the program completely messing up is to open it in portrait, then switch to landscape with Netfront opened.  Using Nyditot, you have to soft reset and it will require me to open Netfront again when already in landscape, causing major problem with the program rendering it unusable.  I guess that is a really small reason to want SE, so I shouldn't really care if I get it or not.
