Perhaps not specifically Windows Mobile news, but I know I use Google maps all the time on my Windows Mobile device so I thought you all might appreciate it. Google\'s Java based map program now includes traffic information, in addition to the directory and directions. This is great, since right now I have to go to my local traffic authority\'s website to get to the traffic flow maps that are so helpful during rush hour traffic. Google Maps for Mobile can be downloaded to any modern phone that supports java apps, when I download the applet onto my Cingular 2125 it does not recognize the phone, but just choose the high-end phone model and it\'ll work just fine. Please note that the the program does download information from the internet, so an unlimited data plan is highly recommended.

Google local satelite images can't be viewed on QTEK models. The installed MIDlet Manager is not able to display jpgs. I've seen hints to use IBM J9 as Java VM instead.
Someone who knows where to get it and if it is completely uninstallable if not appreciated?
