hi frnz,

i am using this card to put the sim for internet.. sometimes i get the signal as GPRS and sometimes as EDGE..

how is this possible.. sorry i don have an idea.. pls explain

It means that your carrier hasn't have 100 % EDGE coverage. Where EDGE isn't available you only get GPRS. That's quite normal and can also happen with UMTS/HSDPA.
Since you haven't told us on which network you are, that's the best I can tell you.
