You might remember the news from the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona where we got the confirmation that Samsung plans to release an Android 1.6/Donut upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy GT-I7500? Well, we've just received the confirmation and prove that the Android 1.6 upgrade is indeed coming to the Samsung Galaxy. Sure, Donut isn't Eclair but 1.6 is a major improvement for Galaxy users since it comes with a couple of improvements (like the updated Android Market, the Quick Search Box for Android, an updated camera and camcorder user interface as well as a new gallery, the new battery usage indicator and Google's text-to-speech engine).
