3GSM LIVE: The Motorola MPx300 Pocket PC Phone Edition becomes reality

Or at least it seems so. While I was running through the Palais des Festival, where the congress happens I found a Motorola advertising on the wall, a little bit hidden from the public areas... ;-)

There you can clearly see it's a Windows Mobile powered Pocket PC Phone Edition with QWERTY keyboard and well, finally we see the final device design:

Wow, an amazing device which creates a complete new class of Pocket PC Phone Edition! As soon as the exhibition opens I will be on the Mototola booth to get a real device into my hands, in front of my camera! :-)

Cheers ~ Arne

Those keys look awfully close together. Now that Nokia finally has released a new Communicator, that could be the way to go. Symbian OS, Nokia quality - we just need TomTom Navigator ported to the Symbian platform.

I am disappointed about the srceen resolution of the Nokia though (640x200) - 640x480 would seem right. If the Moto has a higher resolution making it more Web suitable, it may have an edge..

Regards

Michael
