ANNOUNCED: HTC confirms Windows Mobile 6 timings for the P3300, S620 and Advantage

Together with HTC Europe's release of the Windows Mobile 6 ROM upgrade for the HTC TyTN, HTC also confirmed that it will release other long awaited Windows Mobile 6 ROM upgrades during/from August.
HTC said that the Windows Mobile 6 upgrades for the HTC P3300 (HTC Artemis - Windows Mobile 6 Professional), HTC S620 (HTC Excalibur - Windows Mobile 6 Standard) and HTC Advantage X7500 (HTC Athena - Windows Mobile 6 Professional) are scheduled from August as well.

Detailed availability wasn't given today but watch this space for more info. In the meantime make sure to create a HTC eClub account and assigning your device to your account.

i recently called HTC support and was told the HTC 7500 WM6 upgrade is scheduled for mid september.

You are comparing Windows Mobile 5.0 version numbers with Windows Mobile 6 version numbers.
If a new OS version is released, the version number starts with 1.0 again.
