The Motorola MPx200 with Microsoft Windows Mobile software introduces an entirely new mobile phone experience through the integration of "smart" software with small, stylish handsets. The MPx200 combines the convenience of a wireless mobile handset with the power and familiarity of Windows Mobile software for Smartphone.

The Motorola MPx200 will include Smartphone 2002 with the following features:

  • Microsoft Pocket Outlook to manage e-mail, calendars, tasks, contacts and more
  • Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer browser software (provides capability to browse Web pages and synchronized Mobile Favorites), supporting full integrated HTML and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) color Web browsing
  • Windows Media Player (Windows Media Audio and Video and MP3 formats)
  • MSN Messenger
  • Voice recorder
  • Support for virtual private networking
  • Calculator
  • Solitaire game
  • Smartdial for fast, easy dialing of contacts

  • GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz GPRS (Europe, Middle East and Africa)
  • GSM 1800/1900 MHz GPRS (United States)

Lads don't get too excited by seein this smartphone, motorla has two more up it's sleeve and will be out in feb'04. The first smartphone from them doesn't have a camera,bluetooth r anythin other than an windows os. Guys who r desperate to buy a windows os would be better off with a spv E100 r the comin up "SPV2 r SPV C200 as it is named" r if ur patient u can get the new one named as motorola v720  r somethin in feb'04 and this is fact

Ok - so, er - is it this, or the SVP2 that I should be buying - or are they much the same?  I didn't see Bluetooth on this one am I blind?

So no bluetooth?  That's not what my nextel rep told me.  This is no good.  Anyone know where I can get more in-depth information?
