Following the earlier HTC 7 Trophy approval, today the Global Certification Forum has given its approval to HTC's second Windows Phone 7 smartphone - the HTC 7 Mozart which already showed its face on video before. However, with today's approval we also got the confirmation that the HTC 7 Mozart is designed for EMEA/APAC only by supporting quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as dualband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 900/2100 MHz. According to previous information, the HTC 7 Mozart will also feature 8 GB extra storage, a 3.7" WVGA SLCD touchscreen, a 8 megapixel autofocus camera with Xenon flash and audio DSP with SRS and Dolby Mobile.

It's not expected that HTC will announce any Windows Phone 7 smartphones before Microsoft officially launches Windows Phone 7 - most likely early next month. But since HTC has received the Global Certification Forum approval today, chances are very likely that the HTC 7 Mozart will be available with launch!
