APPROVAL: GCF approves HTC One max - Launch can't be too far away now

While the HTC One max isn't anything new, it still needs to be officially announced by HTC. The Global Certification Forum was now so kind to confirm the existence of HTC's first Android "phablet" by making the approval information official. According to these information, the HTC One max will be a quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE device, supporting triband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 900, 1900 and 2100 MHz as well as triband LTE at 800, 1800 and 2600 MHZ. Furthermore, the GCF documents unveiled that the HTC One max will support SIM lock, even if this doesn't mean that the device will be SIM locked (in all markets). Other than this, the Global Certification Forum isn't spilling any beans.

If the HTC One max was just approved and the info was made official today, it means it can't take too long anymore that HTC will officially announce it because the approval announcement is typically close to an official release date.

Cheers ~ Arne
