The Global Certification Forum (GCF) has recently approved a new HTC smartphone. The so called "PC92100" is a quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dualband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA smartphone, supporting 3G at 900/2100 MHz. Furthermore it seems that - according to an earlier Wi-Fi Alliance approval - that the PC92100 is featuring WiFi b/g/n. Nevertheless, as always, neither the GCF nor the Wi-Fi Alliance are giving any further information about the used operating system and therefore it's unknown if the PC92100 is either a Windows Phone or Android smartphone (or something totally different). However, the used WCDMA bands make it a smartphone for Europe and Asia only.

There's no release date known nor is the commercial name of the PC92100 known.
UPDATE: As it turned out recently, the HTC PC92100 is the GSM/UMTS version of the HTC 7 Pro, HTC has announced back in October with the official launch of Windows Phone 7.
