APPROVED: The Pantech PC-8200N Windows Mobile Smartphone got the FCC approval

Is Pantech, the second largest Korean mobile phone manufacture (behind Samsung but before LG) entering the Windows Mobile Smartphone market as well now?
According to the FCC it looks like. The Pantech PC-8200N just received the FCC approval which is required to release a device in the U.S. And it looks like Pantech already found a customer for the device - Verizon. At least the test-sample's, the FCC used, are Verizon branded.
If it is a Verizon phone, it's not a GSM phone, that's clear and also the antenna doesn't looks GSM'ish anymore:

What makes me a little bit wonder is the fact, that the device doesn't seems to have a Home or Back button and also the Homescreen isn't looking too much Windows Mobile:

While the manual clearly indicates, that it is a Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone.

Feature-wise it seems to support a QVGA screen, has a camera (with unknown resolution) with photo-light on board and supports Bluetooth. No further information about a planned release date are known yet.

Cheers ~ Arne
