Following last week's official Windows Mobile 6.5 launch under the new Windows phone brand, the first ODMs and carriers have started to role-out the promised operating system upgrades. Hot on the heels, HTC today released the promised Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrades for the HTC Touch Pro2 and the HTC Snap. Nevertheless, not yet released is the upgrade for the HTC Touch Diamond2.
Already last week, T-Mobile Germany released the Windows phone update for the T-Mobile MDA Compact V and the T-Mobile MDA Vario V.

Except than an accidentally released ROM update for the Vodafone HTC Touch Diamond2, neither Vodafone nor O2 have yet released Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrades. However, O2 Germany told us, that the Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade for the Toshiba TG01 is soon to be released.

All Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrades are available free of charge. Have you seen further *official* Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrades? Please let us know!

UPDATE: While O2 Germany's Toshiba TG01 upgrade is still not available, Toshiba's recently released Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade for the TG01 is available in English, German and French and is for the branded versions available from Orange UK and Orange France as well as O2 Germany - however it's not yet confirmed is this will also work with carrier branded versions as available from O2 Germany or Orange UK.

Cheers ~ Arne
