AVAILABILITY: LG to expand global LTE Smartphone footprint with the roll-out of the Optimus True HD LTE

LG today announced, that it will expand its LTE smartphone footprint with the launch of the Optimus True HD LTE in new markets across Europe and Asia. First launched in Korea and now available in Japan, Canada and the US, the Optimus True HD LTE is LG's flagship LTE device. The phone has been recognized for its HD multimedia capabilities and comes with a 4.5" 1280 x 720 True HD IPS 720p display. To ensure peak performance, the Optimus True HD LTE runs on a 1.5 GHZ dual-core processor and includes an 8 megapixel camera to provide users with a truly best-in-class user experience. Initially only launched with Android 2.3/Gingerbread, the device is said to receive its upgrade to Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich later.

Following the initial launch of the Optimus True HD LTE, the device is now heading to Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Hong Kong and Singapore. A price wasn't announced today.
