Slightly later than expected, Orange UK finally released the HTC Touch Dual Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone and unlike O2, Orange decided to launch the 12 keys phone pad version rather than the 20 keys SureType version.
All the rest stays the same and since Orange's HTC Touch Dual is identical to the original HTC Touch Dual, you get HTC's TouchFLO, triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz as well as singleband UMTS/HSDPA at 2100 MHz plus Bluetooth 2.0+EDR but neither WiFi nor GPS or a FM radio.

The slide-out keyboard sports a traditional mobile phone keypad layout and Orange added its own style of Today screen:

Furthermore, Orange gives a 1 GB microSD memory card with its offer which expands the inbuilt 128 MB RAM/256 MB ROM.

The Orange HTC Touch Dual is now available in the UK but even if it was announced to be released in France, Romania, Poland and in Switzerland too, it's not available yet there.

In the UK it's available from £ 99.99 to free, depending on the plan.

UPDATE: got its hands on an Orange HTC Touch Dual already and has posted some photos and screenshots. Looks good, even if I like the O2 Xda star ID with the 20 keys keyboard more.

Cheers ~ Arne
