AVAILABLE: O2 UK releases Windows Mobile 6 Upgrades for the Xda Orbit and Xda Trion

Following O2 Germany, also O2 UK finally released its Windows Mobile Professional ROM upgrades for the O2 Xda Orbit and O2 Xda Trion which can be downloaded free of charge from O2 UK.
And that's cool - O2 UK already enabled the support for XML based Office 2007 files (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) - something Microsoft announced to become available later this year.
Now I wonder if today's HTC TyTN ROM upgrade is also Office 2007 compatible?

Unlike before, for this ROM upgrades you also need your device's serial number (not the IMEI number) which you can find under the battery. (something like S/N HTxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or S/N: SZxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).

As always please make sure to sync your device(s) first before you perform this upgrade since it deletes all data and installed programs from your device.

Cheers ~ Arne

Glad to see O2 UK managed to release the Trion update in time. After it took them ages to release it in the UK they finally have learned from Germany how to release updates.

Way to go O2, maybe I will stay with you longer (even if I'm still undecided).
