Yesterday I've previewed Xetra's xBar 2.0, today he released it commercially.
It's available from now from Handango for around 6,00 Euro:

Microsoft Smartphone 2002 and 2003 are multitask OS but Windows don't provide any tools to exploit it. xBar is the solution!

After install it, long press on action button to display xBar. xBar enables you to exploit best Windows features from your Smartphone such as easy task switching and clipboard management.

  • Easy switch between application.
  • Free memory by easy quitting unused app.
  • Auto clean Memory when reaching defined level.
  • Task scheduler enable you to use mp3 for wake up.
  • You can at last use copy and past.
  • Launch app with only a key without use today screen.
  • Display time & Memory load next to battery and radio level.
  • xBar 2.0 is fully sinkable.

xBar 2.0 works with Smartphone 2002 and 2003 devices, such as the Orange SPVs or Motorola MPx200 and is available from PocketGear for US$ 5.99; however a trial version isn't available so far.

Cheers ~ Arne

Hi Arne, I've been looking at the xbar_cfg.ini file (to swap the Record key for the Acrion key also!), and the developer gives some key code examples:

13=ACTION 121=RECORD 48='0' 55='7'

Do you know if there is a full key map available?

Good question, all I know so far is that I've switched the launch button back to the record button but I have no clue about the other available key maps. However, I still have several more questions to Xetra and will add this to my list of questions. Will let you know if I know more!

Hey Arne I'd like to know why you switched the launch button back to the record button? Because the action

button relocation was one of my main reason for upgrading!

Well, good question... While the action button already has a meaningful usage (being the action button ;-)), the record button hasn't any meaningful usage for me (if it isn't the Voyager where it is also the camera launcher). Therefore I've decided to switch it back to the record button but this is just my subjective thought.
