BEING MOBILE: Wireless in the Airport with a Prolink Wi-Fi card

Hello once again and this time from Cebu City in the Philippines. One more thing about being mobile is the total freedom it brings the user of any Windows Mobile device. The subject at hand is the iPAQ h2210 Pocket PC. Thanks to a friend who lent me the Prolink W-Fi card for testing, I was able to connect to the Internet easily and thus post this article.

I think it is a must for those of us who are serious about being mobile to carry enough options for wireless or wired connectivity for that matter. I normally pack my bag with my Pocket PC, Smartphone, CF Modem, BT equipped phone, and this time... a Wi-Fi CF card. This way I can remain connected anytime anywhere. I mean that is what it is all about anyway.

So here I am posting this article on an iPAQ with my trusty Pocketop IR Keyboard connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi doing my email, updating PPCW.Net, updating my AvantGo and surfing the web in freedom.

I'll be back in Manila in about a few hours so I guess the next time I post something I'll be back in front of the desktop PC.

Mabuhay ~ Carlo
