If you are such a heavy user of SyncData's SmartphoneNotes like I'm, I'm sure you know the Outlook security feature, which asks you every time if you are sure to allow Outlook access. While I appreciated improved security, this pop-up becomes a little bit annoying, especially if you have forgotten to accept the access for x minutes because ActiveSync is on hold until you allow/deny access.

Now SyncData, provides a free solution (currently available as Beta only) for its SmartphoneNotes customers:

This update provides a solution to the security warning message issued by Microsoft Outlook when SmartphoneNotes is synchronizing a note from Outlook to the phone:

To use this update, download and run the setup executable.
At this time, the update has been tested with Microsoft Outlook 2000, Microsoft Outlook 2002/XP and Microsoft 2003 (western languages only).

I've installed it and tested it a couple of times with several Smartphones and so far it worked fine. Highly recommended for all SmartphoneNotes users!

Cheers ~ Arne
