BUG: Be aware of the iPAQ H3870 Bluetooth/Wireless Pack bug
Posted by Arne Hess - on Friday, 26.04.02 - 16:34:00 CET under 02 - Windows Mobile News - Viewed 6133x

If you plan to use your Compaq iPAQ H3870 Pocket PC 2002 with the Wireless GSM/GPRS Pack, make sure Bluetooth is disabled on the Pocket PC!
Otherwise you will get the following error messages:

Error
Cannot execute WCS
The module is not available.

Error
The port is in use by
another application or was
not closed. You may reset
your iPAQ to fix this
problem.

The point is that the suggested soft-rest helps, but only because it shuts down Bluetooth. So make sure next time you want to use your iPAQ for Bluetooth to fire up Bluetooth again. :-(

I hope to see a bugfix for this soon!

Cheers ~ Arne

Does this happen on the H3970, too?  Is this with the original firmware/ROM for the Wireless Pack?
