CABLE: Gomadic Corp releases hard to find T-Mobile, o2 xda Serial Cable

Gomadic Corp has recently expanded their popular line of Power Sync Cables for the Compaq iPAQ to include the Microsoft Pocket PC Phone Edition. The Pocket PC Phone Edition has revolutionized communications by enabling users to combine a high quality cell phone with Microsoft’s sophisticated Pocket PC operating system. To date all T-Mobile Phone Edition/o2 xdas are deliverd with a USB cradle, however finding a serial cable to be able to connect GPS receivers, game controllers or even to a PC running Windows NT and therefore doesn't support USB has been more or less impossible - until now!

Gomadic’s Pocket PC phone Serial Cables are 5 feet in length, custom designed by engineers at Gomadic, professionally built and backed by a lifetime warranty. They are designed to work on the following Pocket PC Phone Edition platforms: T-Mobile, o2 xda and ATT Siemens SX56 Pocket PC Phone.

Note that this cable is not a Power Sync cable (like the xda USB cable I've recently reviewed) and will not provide power to your Pocket PC Phone Edition. The cable is in stock for US$ 19.95.

Cheers ~ Arne
