Tonight I got the following E-Mail from Revolve Design California:

Revolve Design is pleased to announce the release of it's new HP/Compaq iPAQ vehicle docking solutions with on-board charging, serial connections and optional keyboard.

Well, the Revolve Design solution isn't another docking solution for your iPAQ only but a complete new "Road Warrior" concept as it also includes an optional keyboard:

RoadWriter is a revolutionary new concept in Mobile Computing. We've combined UniMount with an integrated Touch -Type Keyboard (fully optimized for handheld computers) to provide efficient, in-vehicle data entry while providing a secure, rugged, mobile mounting platform for your handheld. RoadWriter offsets the need to use bulky, expensive laptops or dedicated terminals while on the road.

I hope to get one of it soon to be reviewed here on PPCW.Net. However, the concept in general looks very promising.

Cheers ~ Arne
