Excellent way to spend a lot of money sending SMS for a little chat  8O I think this way you can easily send 40 messages in half an hour. I think the network operators can be happy  :?
Cannot see the benefit as there is already MSN Messenger Phone Edition and Smartphone....
Cheers.

[1] While I agree with you regarding the price there are several good reasons for such an application:

1. More folks have a GSM phone with SMS support than having a Windows Mobile device which supports MSN Messenger.
2. SMS is still pretty common in some communities and today (even if it will happen sooner or later that IM will become what SMS is today) SMS is the text messaging method today.
3. It's not a new idea. Nokia and other phones have this feature for a long time already and it was pretty successful when introduced some years ago.
4. It's a great proof of concept.

Thank god, I'm not using much SMS  lol US$ 12 for a program that just helps to burn more money...  8O

On the other hand... knowing JGUI's track record on selling software at redicilous prices that never works the risk may be much smaller than I fear

with a lot of contracts including sms or cheap sms sending that's a nice little program. that's something i loved about the treo600. if J's SXSMS will become a little more than the treo600 app and will include some kind of log file of the chat i would be happy to spend some buck for such a programm

Since the master of JGUI appears here as well to drive his sales: I'd recommend everone who considers this program to play with the demo version first and make a good backup before you start...
