HTC today announced that the award-winning HTC One will be available in a distinctive, new color. Available in the UK exclusively to customers of Phones 4u from mid-July, the new HTC One in Glamour Red packs the blistering performance and premium features that have garnered global acclaim since its launch earlier this year, into a body that makes a striking yet sophisticated statement. Being otherwise exactly the same device as the initially launched silver and black HOC One, the HTC One combines the latest in mobile innovation and design to offer the company's most powerful experience to date. Packing incredible performance and first-class features into this distinctive new colored body, the award-winning HTC One is the flagship handset in HTC's portfolio and offers the very latest in mobile innovation and design

For instance is BlinkFeed aggregating multiple feeds from selected news sources, social networks and other in-phone features like the calendar or HTC Sense TV creates a customizable, real-time stream of relevant information direct to the home screen.

Customers can visit Phones 4U to exclusively pre-order the HTC One in Red from today. The 4G smartphone will be available from mid-July and will be free from £33 a month on contract. For other countries, HTC hasn't announced the release of the red version but I would expect it's just a question of time until other open market retailers, or even carriers, will also pick-up the glamor red HTC One.

UPDATE: As we've just heard from a trustful source, the glamour red HTC One will also be released in other European countries; so it's not UK exclusive but within the UK exclusive to Phones 4U!
UPDATE 2: The suggested retail price for Germany and Austria is 679 Euro; for Switzerland it's 799 Franc.

Cheers ~ Arne
