As you might know, net access is one of the most important requirements I have to a mobile device such as a PDA or smart phone.

Thanks to "Dub Wireless", now I have also some screenshots of different Symbian devices using build-in and 3rd party browsers. Also I've snapped some comparable screenshots of my Windows Powered devices such as Pocket PC 2002 and Smartphone 2002. Overall - doesn't matter which browser and device you take - it looks amazing and promising and most of all I'm pretty proud, that the Wireless version of PPCW.Net looks so good on all devices! :-)

Microsoft Pocket PC 2002

  • Inbuilt Pocket Internet Explorer

Microsoft Smartphone 2002

  • Inbuilt Pocket Internet Explorer

Nokia 7650

  • Opera Browser for Nokia 7650 - normal view and full screen view

Sony Ericsson P800

  • Inbuilt P800 Browser - normal view and full screen view

  • Opera Browser for Sony Ericsson P800

If you are using other mobile devices like Palms or Handsprings or 3rd party browsers then the above, I would be happy to get more screenshots for comparison. Please send me your screenshots you mad from http://www.ppcw.net/mobile.php or post it to the Forum.

So what do you think about the wireless web now? :D Doesn't it looks great!? ;-)

Cheers ~ Arne

It's really cool to see the site on different OS....

Yes, it is and as good it looks it's interesting to see how different the site is parsed on the browsers.

While the PIE 2002 browsers supports the <align="left"> HTML tag for images, the Opera browsers centers the picture while the original P800 browser ignores it (like AvantGo which also ignores a lot of HTML tags).
