Newcomer Spectec (new but already well known) continued with the miniaturization of its W-LAN cards and after Spectec shrinked W-LAN to the size of miniSD, the Taiwanese card specialist recently announced the world's first microSD W-LAN card with support for Windows Mobile!
Just as small as a thumbnail, this W-LAN card support WiFi b/g with theoretic connection speeds up to 54 Mbits, infrastructure and Ad-Hoc networks and is based on SDIO Now! 1.0 (so your Windows Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone has to support SDIO as well).

Neither a price nor a release date was announced yet but the card already appears on Spectec's website, so it shouldn't take too long anymore to see it released.

Cheers ~ Arne
