According to DigiTimes Dot Com AT&T Wireless plans to introduce a Smartphone manufactured by Taiwanese HTC:

High Tech Computer (HTC), a Taiwan-based Pocket PC and smartphone maker, has recently landed smartphone orders from AT&T Wireless, said sources.

According to a DigiTimes report in January, HTC is expected to launch its second smartphone at the soonest by the end of the current quarter. The new model, to be shipped for Germany-based T-Mobile International, will be based on the first smartphone design and will continue using Microsoft’s Smartphone OS.

HTC also supplies smartphones for Orange, the wireless unit of France Telecom and Smart Communications of the Philippines.
