Today, O2 Germany announced that the launch of netzclub, Germany's first mobile plan financed by advertising and offered by Telefónica O2 Germany in partnership with YOC, has got off to a flying start since it was launched back in May. With netzclub, customers receive offers from favored brands directly on their mobile phone. In return, customers can make calls and surf with 100 free minutes or a free mobile Internet flat rate for the O2 network - an attractive offer for smartphone users and frequent callers who prefer not to get tied to a contract. However, netzclub now also offers a free netzclub internet flat rate for mobile surfing in a co-branded version called "Windows Life Tariff".

There are no further requirements to receive a free Windows Live netzclub SIM card. All it needs is a registration with a valid Windows Live ID or Hotmail account, configuring interests for receiving customized ad-SMS and within days the SIM card should appear in the postbox.
