Together with Microsoft and Unsisys, O2 Germany introduced the Microsoft Mobile Information Server 2002 for corporate customers.

With the MMIS technology customers should be able to access corporate E-Mails as well as calendar. New E-Mails will be notified with a SMS message to the mobile device. The MMIS service is designed to work with O2's xda Pocket PC Phone Edition and free of charge in its trial phase until end of February. Customers have to pay for GPRS access and SMS notifications only.

Cheers ~ Arne
