Carcomm International recently released a car cradle which is designed for the HTC Himalaya platform (known as xda II, PPCW.Net i-Mate Phone Edition and others) with original bottom connector and steady fitting for your Phone Edition.

Specially designed for mobile use it's charging through the 12 Volt cigarette lighter and also includes a RS-232 and a PS/2 connector for connecting the device with other external accessories, for example a GPS Receiver.

It's available from several online shops like suplies4mobility for around 70 - 75 Euro.

Cheers ~ Arne

Do any of the cradles allow for the phone to stay in a case (vaja or other). I'm assuming you have to take it out of the case first.

No, don't think so. If you watch the photo above you see it's perfect fitting around the device, for sure without a case.

So when you going to start selling these Arne???

Well, I don't have plans for this but in case I would get enough pre-orders for it I might can do a one time sales. Carcomm already offered me something like that!

It doesn't look like this has Audio-out, though.  sad  That's what I'm waiting for!  When will that cradle with audio-out be available?
